E-4660 Yaw Bearing upgrade

Double row bearing

New Yaw bearing uses a double row bearing configuration which means that the new design is capable of withstanding all wind conditions that your turbine can experience.

Packaged yaw bearing and pinion wheel

The pinion wheel is exchanged alongside thenew bearing to prevent accelerated wear caused by using a worn pinion on a new unit.

Increased bolt capacity

As the original desing have failed on bolt connections to bedplate it was necessary to redevelop exisitng bolting pattern and increase its load capacity. Our New Yaw bearing incoroporates significant increase of load capacity to ensure your turbine is safe.

Improved Surface treatment

Utilises a combination of zinc coating and paint forenhanced surface protection, contrasting with the unprotected original bearing.

"Our Endurance E-3120 wind turbine experienced premature rotor failure after refurbishment (less than 2 years). Fortunately, NorZet, whos founders were part of the design team of the well-regarded Earthmill/Britwind bedplate and shaft upgrade for the E-3120, offered their New Rotor prototype testing on our wind turbine. We are very pleased with the results: improved reliability, increased generation, and the inclusion of tip brakes for enhanced storm protection. We highly recommend NorZet's professionalism and expertise."
